Rotary Youth Speaks Public Speaking competition - national final!

A journey which began all the way back in January finally came to an end on Sunday for Jamie, Sophia and Laurel. 

The trio travelled to Hull to represent d'Overbroeck's in the national final of the Rotary Youth Speaks Public Speaking competition. They faced stiff competition from seven other schools from across the country and have much to celebrate, though sadly were pipped to the post on the night by the High School of Glasgow.

Well done to Jamie, Sophia and Laurel for all their hard work over the past few months. Congratulations also to all those who took part in the earlier rounds of the competition. Ruth Robinson, our Head of English, has already begun preparing for 2014!
